regarding my future posts

i was going to leave, but i’d like to try not to. there are people i care for here, writing that i love to read. so i’m trying to find a solution that i’m comfortable with.

due to the Pangram stuff i won’t be publishing my writing here as posts anymore, not in the traditional sense. hopefully a change happens that makes me more comfortable and i can return to it, but until then, i’ll be sharing through notes and trying something out.

i’m frustrated because it’s already difficult enough to garner attention for yourself here, anywhere. i’m toying with the idea of publishing posts with images of my writing instead, but i’m concerned that will deter people from reading. (it sounds silly, but it’s true. people are less likely to read an image. zooming can be an annoyance, you have to click in all the way, etc.) it is an option i’m willing to try.

regardless, i try not to be greedy about readership. the main thing is to get what i love to write out there, to exist. it helps me to feel that i am real.

thank you to everyone who’s remained here with me, even through my episodes. it means more than i can express. please try not to mind the images.

***UPDATE: there is now a disable option that does not require scanning your own work. what a relief.
